Individual Counseling

Counseling with Brittany offers individual outpatient counseling via telehealth for adults throughout the State of Maine. Brittany utilizes an eclectic approach to therapy, combining elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing.

Diagnostic Assessments for ADHD/Autism

Counseling with Brittany offers Diagnostic Assessments to adults aged 18 and older to assess for Autism, ADHD, and differential diagnosis.

Diagnostic Assessments take place over two 75 minute sessions, and require client participation in completion of self-reporting measures prior to assessments sessions. Measures utilized may include clinical interview, self-reports, and clinician-administered assessment tools. After the Diagnostic Assessment is completed, the clinician will provide a diagnostic report to the client, including recommendations for accommodations and interventions if applicable.

A Diagnostic Assessment is not a guarantee of diagnosis, nor does a Diagnostic Assessment replace a Neuropsychological Evaluation.

Diagnostic Assessments cost $1,000, which includes:

  • One 90 minute diagnostic interview session

  • One 50 minute session to discuss findings and review next steps

  • Diagnostic report detailing findings

  • Recommendations for future interventions

  • Recommendations for accommodations if indicated
